Promoting Digital Advocacy and Creative Story Telling for Persons with Disabilities
3/18/20261 min read

Yesterday, Lizu Community Network facilitated a capacity-building session for Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) and Organisations of Persons with Disabilities (OPDs) focused on digital storytelling and media advocacy.
Participants gained practical tools to amplify their voices, raise awareness on disability rights, and strengthen campaigns calling for the ratification of the African Union African Disability Protocol (ADP).
The training highlighted how digital platforms can be used to advance inclusion, influence policy, and create more representative advocacy spaces.
This activity was conducted under the project Strengthening Civil Society Regional Partnerships in Favour of the Ratification of the African Disability Protocol, implemented by Cheshire Homes Society of Zambia and DAPP Zambia with support from the European Union.
Together, we continue building stronger and more inclusive advocacy spaces.
