The Future of Work and AI in Africa — A Lizu Webinar Series Highlight

July 10th, 2025 | Virtual

On July 10th, Lizu Community Network hosted a thought-provoking session as part of our Lizu Webinar Series, themed “The Future of Work: How AI is Redefining Job Markets in Africa.”

The virtual session brought together 60 participants from across Africa and beyond, featuring a panel of leading thinkers — including a Zambian policy analyst and media trainer, the Founder of Section 30 (Malawi), and the Founder of Digital Foundation (Kenya).

Discussions explored how Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming the nature of work, policy frameworks, and digital skills development across the continent. Participants reflected on Africa’s readiness for the AI-driven economy, ethical considerations, and how youth can leverage technology for innovation and employment.

Every participant received a certificate of completion, symbolizing not just attendance but a commitment to the digital transformation agenda.

At Lizu, we’re proud to create such platforms that spark ideas, inspire innovation, and empower young Africans to shape the future of work.
