On April 11th, Lizu Community Network hosted a capacity-building training for 14 community advocates from Kapata Ward passionate about climate justice and sustainability.
The session equipped participants with digital advocacy skills helping them use technology to amplify environmental campaigns, share local stories, and influence policy change.
We were joined by the Kwayedza Youth Group, who shared innovative ways to turn waste into entrepreneurial opportunities, promoting both environmental sustainability and economic empowerment.
This initiative reflects Lizu’s broader vision of using digital innovation for inclusive governance, ensuring that communities can not only adapt to environmental change but lead in creating sustainable local solutions.
