With support from ActionAid and TaxEd, Lizu Community Network convened a community symposium in Chipata to critically analyze the proposed 2026 National Budget.
This dialogue brought together over 70 citizens from across multiple wards in Chipata, creating a space for open discussion on national priorities and fiscal accountability.
Through the sessions, participants identified four key sectors requiring urgent government attention: Health, Agriculture, Education and Local Government
