From 17–19 June 2025, Lizu Community Network had the privilege of joining ActionAid Zambia in a capacity strengthening programme for Activista Chipata an inspiring platform for youth activism and civic engagement.
Our role was to equip 20 participants with essential digital advocacy and digital literacy skills. These skills are not just technical add-ons, they are powerful tools for promoting digital rights, strengthening accountability, and enhancing civic engagement in communities across Eastern Province.

In today’s world, the ability to use digital platforms effectively can make the difference between a local issue being ignored or becoming a catalyst for change. By understanding how to advocate online, verify information, and engage safely in the digital space, youth activists can:
